When I talk to brands and manufacturers, they’re still very comfortable and cosy DOING BUSINESS THE TRADITIONAL WAY. They’re still comfortable to participate in exhibitions to find distributors and wholesalers. They’re still comfortable for the retailers to manage that end-consumer relationship, the transactional value. They’re still comfortable in sending the parcel, big parcels to a distributor rather than dealing one-to-one to consumers.

The question is, WHERE ARE THE CONSUMERS OF TODAY AND TOMORROW GOING? WHERE ARE THEY LIKELY GOING TO SHOP? How to incentivize them to say YOUR BRAND IS BETTER THAN YOUR COMPETITOR. That’s the Bottom Line!

Brands and manufacturers should follow consumers & customers. If they are Going Online, SHOULDN’T YOUR BRAND DO THE SAME?

In a desert where no one comes, no one understands, no one knows, and if someone happens to come into your store it’s like zombies in there!

Imagine if you have a retail store and if a customer comes to you to inquire about the product or understand what you do and all of the people, all of the team members within that store, are static and just standing, not talking, not moving. Do you expect the customer to buy from you in that retail store? As much as a lot of brands and manufacturers are comfortable doing business the traditional way, I would highly encourage you to start thinking about HOW YOU CAN DRIVE & CONNECT WITH YOUR CONSUMERS directly through e-Commerce because, dear friends, that’s where everyone is going.
